Crimes of Fashion
Who: Katherine Pierce and Open; multiple threads welcome
Where: Crime of Fashion
When: A few hours before sundown
What: Shopping
Rating: TBD
Bored, Katherine Pierce was bored. She found plenty of pretty college boys to wet her appetites, but they were vapid and some days, she wanted more. When she got too bored she’d travel abroad wherever her whims took her. Katherine’s tastes were flawless, much in part to her parents. They always had the best, and underdone was all more classic unless you were going for the baroque style that so many older vampires felt necessary.
This small town held one opportunity she not find elsewhere, the opportunity to deal the drugs with less opportunity for capture. On her last trip, she caught up with a Canadian grow-op. As human’s they were doomed to fail, the gift of an eternal life, or die by a ruthless animal – well Katherine’s army slowly grew. Now was the time to add to her alliances, but first she wanted clothes.
She’s meant to visit this shop many times; maybe she’d find a treasure or possibly two. She needed an outfit to impress, not only to intimidate her potential employee and yet look good enough to eat.
The bellomorte walked into the shop, breathing in the smells, as she walked to a rack and started looking.

KSU Character intro

Katherine loved traveling; everything to her was a grand adventure, particularly when it came to different places. Europe, though full of pleasures and delights not so easily found in the United States, it was regardless of the destination, boring when you were alone. For three centuries, she’d done this, finding a mate her or there, all of them knowing what she was and how she was. Rarely did she turn anyone anymore, only if it were a necessity.
Money was never an issue, born to privilege; the family had stockpiles of money. That she had to give credit to her father. Pampered and spoiled, her father taught her that money came with power, and with money you could do anything. She’d invested wisely.
Early on, she found everyone had one obsession. Using that knowledge to her advantage, she’d gotten in on the ground floor of the drug culture, easily able to transport drugs back and forth during the war. Not that she enjoyed war; it was nasty and dirty, but smart for opportunistic vampires.
Slowly she’d built a following, and in the elite vampire circles they spoke of Katherine, naming her Katherine the Great, after the Russian Queen Catherine II.
She was the beautiful beast of death, the most unrecognized prolific female serial killer of her time.

Character Information
Name:Katherine Pierce (Von Schwartzchild book verse)
Age: Unknown other than she was turned in the 1500’s by Klaus in Germany. (book verse)
Fandom: Vampire Diaries
Occupation: Katherine would never work, she has minions.
Housing: (One, Two or Three Bedroom - If two or three, will you be willing to take a housemate?) She would, not sure who you could trust her with cause she does bite. She’d take a three bedroom if possible she because she likes opulence.
Point In Fandom Taken From: : Right after episode 1.14 Fool Me Once (tv verse)
Brief History: Katherine Pierce, a dark-haired beauty, visited the Salvatore family in Mystic Falls, Virginia; the two families. Stefan a University student and his brother, Damon, a deserter from the Confederate army met the beautiful young vampire when she came to visit the family. Their father embraced Stefan, but did not agree with Damon’s moral stance on the issue of the Civil War.
Enamoured with Katherine, the brothers became rivals for her attentions. Neither of them knew she was a vampire. Pampered and narcissistic, she wanted both men, feeding on them, sleeping on them and compelling them to live this lifestyle.
Stefan’s loyalty was split between his love for Katherine and the trust of his father. Soon it was discovered there were vampires in town, and the witch hunt began. Damon felt they should take Katherine and live, while Stefan felt his father could be persuaded to see their side. Before Stefan could discuss this with his father, Katherine fed on Stefan. Unknowingly, Stefan’s father had been putting verbane (a plant that repels and weakens vampires).
Seeing Katherine in this state, Mr. Salvatore knew the dark-beauty was indeed one of the vampires plaguing the town. Ordering Stefan to get the sheriff, he obeyed. Katherine was entombed forever, left to starve for eternity.
Damon, hopelessly in love blamed Stefan for the betrayal.
Feeding continually off the brothers and allowing them to drink her blood; her plan was to turn them. With the intrusion of Mr. Salvatore, Katherine’s plans were crushed. Instead of her turning them, their death battle caused their immortality.
A narcissist with a playful side, Katherine uses all of her feminine wiles (yes I typed wiles) to get what she wants. The word ‘no’ isn’t in Katherine’s vocabulary. She looks at everything in how it affects her and what she can get out-of-it. Although she is strong, she comes across as the damsel in distress, using that to her advantage. She is a manipulator, prefers opulence, verses simplicity. Cold and calculating, she hides her cunningness behind her sweet southern charm.
PB: Nina Dobrev
Writing Sample (minimum of 100 words and must be in third-person format) Europe was never boring, Katherine found it fascinating. Hunting was incredibly exciting; there were so many more opportunities for vampiric adventures. In Vienna there were masked balls, in Romania the passionate gypsies who fought like hell. And in Paris the clothes, it was paradise for Katherine. In every city the night life was incredible, unlike typical American cities where the sidewalks seemed to roll up at sunset and the humans hide inside their homes. She could abide the obsessive, want everything culture more during the summer months.
Rich spoiled and pampered, Kat thought the entire world was hers for the taking. She’d turned a few just for company. She missed Damon; he was the brother who finally stole her heart. Once she cared for Stefan until he betrayed her. More than that, she’d watched them both from a distance; Stefan did not appreciate the gift he’d been given.
Damon and Katherine chose to split up to look for Damon and his new upstart girlfriend who had the Gaul to resemble her. Damon eventually tracked them down in some insignificant American town. ‘That’s my boy,’ she thought. As his sire, he was bound to do her bidding out-of-respect. That was something else Stefan seemed to have forgotten, but that was Damon’s side-of-the story.
Both vampires were dominant. Another thing she loved about Damon he would challenge her, it kept their relationship interesting.
She tended to be a little pouty at the moment. Damon got to pick out their new house. She’d shipped everything ahead. Antiques she’d collected over the centuries. He did have good tasted, so despite her feminine and sire instincts; she promised she would agree to his choices. My now, he should know what she would and would not accept.
It was a long ride in the limo to the address he’d text-ed her. She took her time getting ready; the driver gave her an appreciative glance as she changed in the back seat.
She would taste him; she missed his blood as he should miss hers. Her lips curved into a wicked smile.
